Alexander BLAKE WIND

Alexander BLAKE WIND
Growing up in sunny South Florida, I’ve been performing for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Penn State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Political Science. While at Penn State, I was involved in multiple mainstage productions, as well as new works such as “The Lucky Boy” by Kirsten Childs, “In-Gauged” by Christian Thompson and Maria Wirries, and “Family Album” by Joe Iconis, which I also served as the Assistant Director for.
Outside of theater, I am deeply proud of my work as co-founder of March For Our Lives and working towards ending gun violence. I was honored to have been named one of TIME magazine's Most Influential People of the Year in 2018, as well as earning a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award. I have had the privilege of speaking all across the country in venues such as the Harvard Institute of Politics, the Points of Light Conference, and The University of Miami Ohio Distinguished Lecture Series. I was additionally featured in the CNN special “The Parkland Diaries” and HBO’s documentary “Song of Parkland,” the latter of which included an original song of mine “Broken City” with lyrics by myself and music by Joseph Trefler
